New Balance is a SUPERIOR brand to Nike. Maybe the sweatshop thing had something to do with it because I understand wp like to do some charity while they shop, but New Balance is new balance men's 990 more comfortable than Nike, has less BULLSHIT than nike, it is all around BETTER. You are hating on white people for making a good consumer choice for once???

white people do love new balance shoes. they use them to exercise outdoors (*which new balance shoes trail running allows them to enjoy the weather,) and to workout at the gym. white people love working out at the gym. that should be #100. bc then we get to pretend like we're healthy. bonus points if we actually get in shape, bc then we can feel superior bc we're hotter than the obese masses of america. ps- please not that i put the comma INSIDE the parentheses- the only way it should be done!

So I was in a shoe store and on new balance shoes skate one foot was a Nike and on the other a New Balance& The Nike was a little bit cuter (dark grey and hot pink!) and a little bit more supportive of the arches, but then I started thinking about the tiny little baby hands that made all those adorable little stitches all around that EVIL swoosh. So I asked the sales lady if New Balances were even made in America anymore and she said no. They come from all over. They haven't been domestic for years. My new Nikes are hot.

I think your first responder h it it on the head& not everyone is a D, or medium width& which is the width in which about 97% of all shoes come in (casual, dress, sporty, sneakers, heals, etc., etc.,). I'm not morbidly obese or anything, but I have been blessed with very wide feet. The new balance walking shoes mens only reason I own, and have for many years, New Balance shoes is because they actually fit. That is an important factor when you run 3 or 4 miles. That's the only reason& trust me, it's not because they look cool.

I think white people wear New Balances because the 992 (I think that's what they're on, I switched to Aasics) is one of the few decent looking shoes. It's not a fashion show. It's simply a running shoe that doesn't look like some form of urban day-glo artwork. They're also pretty good running shoes, for marathon training of course.
